Gary Kellam passed into the Lords presence on November 22, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.

Gary was born October 3, 1943 to Charles and Norma Kellam in San Francisco California. There he attended school till he enlisted into the US Navy. After his discharge he joined his father and family in the furniture business, which lasted over 50 years.

He met the love of his life along the way, his wife Janet! The blended family moved to Lodi in 1973 where they operated Lodi Furniture Gallery for many years.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Charles, his mother Norma and brother Richard.

He is survived by his wife Janet of over 45 years, his sons Jeffery Kellam, Jon, Joey, Jay and Justin Deanda, his sister Peggy Kellam, ten grandchild­ren, four greatgrand­children and his sisterin-law Peggy Elington of Missouri.

Gary was very active in local community services through Grace Presbyteri­an church. He started up a food, clothing and Hygiene program with the local homeless population in local parks and later moved to the Salvation Army. He also served on various committees to help those in need.

He enjoyed being Santa on the holidays, and taking free photos with families as Santa.

Serving the Lord, his family and fishing were his greatest joy’s in life, and of course his Labrador Ms. Remi.

A Memorial service will be held at Grace Presbyteri­an Church at 1 p.m. on December 9, 2017.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributi­ons may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave. Stockton, Ca. 95204, and Grace Presbyteri­an Church, 10 N. Mills Ave. 95242.

Arrangemen­ts are entrusted to the care of Donahue Funeral Home 123 N. School St. Lodi, Ca. 95240.
