Kat Tudor High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Basketball College: Oregon State
Tudor, a sophomore guard, scored 15 points in the Beavers’ 89-49 win over Nevada on Friday, along with six rebounds. She then had nine points, six rebounds and two assists in a 94-55 win over Utah State on Saturday. Oregon State is currently ranked 19th in the AP poll at 5-2.
Monica Valenzuela High school: Lodi Sport: Basketball College: Holy Names University
Valenzuela, a freshman guard, had five points and three rebounds in a loss to Dominican, then had five points, 10 rebounds and two assists in a loss to Fresno Pacific.
DeAndre Stallings High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Basketball College: Concordia Portland
Stallings, a junior forward, had nine points — all on 3-pointers — and three rebounds in a 99-72 loss to Western Washington, then had a rebound in a 68-60 loss to Simon Fraser.
David Lerma High school: Elliot Sport: Basketball College: Maranatha Baptist
Lerma, a junior guard, had 18 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals in the Sabercats’ 105-97 win over North Central-Minn. He then had 13 points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal in an 89-44 win over Faith Baptist Bible on Saturday, followed by a 17-point, six-rebound, four-assist game in a 95-53 win over Emmaus.
Sydney Marks High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Volleyball College: Cal Baptist
The top-ranked Lancers’ season came to an abrupt end in the NCAA Division II West Regional with Friday’s 3-1 loss to CSU San Bernardino, in which Marks had three kills and four blocks. She also had 10 kills and six blocks in the playoff opener on Thursday, a 3-2 win over Sonoma State.
Alanna Valdez High school: Tokay Sport: Volleyball College: Delta
Valdez, a freshman libero, had six digs and an ace as the Mustangs opened the State Championship Tournament with a 3-1 win over Mira Costa in the quarterfinals. She then had three digs and an assist in the semifinals, a 3-2 win over Cabrillo, before racking up 12 digs and an ace in the state championship match, a 3-1 loss to Irvine Valley.
Madison O’Grodnick High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Volleyball College: Delta
O’Grodnick, a sophomore outside hitter, had two kills, four blocks and three digs in the state quarterfinal win, four kills in the semifinal win and seven kills, three blocks and four digs in the state championship loss.
Grace Celli High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Volleyball College: Delta
Celli, a freshman middle blocker, had five blocks in the quarterfinal win, four kills and three blocks in the semifinal win and three kills and five blocks in the championship loss.
Alexa Brand High school: Lodi Sport: Basketball College: Delta
Brand, a freshman shooting guard, had seven points in Thursday’s 74-71 win over Cerritos, then had three rebounds in a 49-44 loss to Foothill.
Onkar Sidhu High school: Elliot Sport: Basketball
College: Cosumnes River
Sidhu, a freshman guard, had seven points, two rebounds and two steals in a 66-43 win over Chabot, then had six points, two rebounds and two assists in Saturday’s 59-54 loss to Las Positas.
Jalen Valverde High school: Elliot Sport: Basketball College: Cosumnes River
Valverde, a freshman guard, had seven points, 10 rebounds and six assists off the bench against Chabot, and 12 points, two rebounds and three assists against Las Positas.
Isaiah King-Halsey High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Basketball College: Monterey Peninsula King-Halsey, a sophomore guard, had 10 points, three rebounds and four assists in a 78-66 win over Santa Barbara, then had six points in a 68-60 loss to Gavilan on Friday, and eight points and five rebounds in Saturday’s 70-56 win over Solano.
