Mike Meserole High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Basketball College: Cal Maritime
Meserole, a senior guard, scored 19 points and had a pair of rebounds in the Keelhaulers’ 73-64 loss to UC Merced in the opener of CalPac Conference play.
Mack Bertram-Gregory High school: Tokay Sport: Basketball College: Mitchell College
Bertram-Gregory, a senior forward, had 10 points and six assists in a 9794 loss to Western Connecticut on Dec. 5, 12 points, five rebounds and two steals in Thursday’s 91-81 loss to Albertus Magnus, eight points, four rebounds and two assists in Saturday’s 75-68 win over Connecticut College, and 15 points, three rebounds and four assists in Tuesday’s 121-118 doubleovertime victory over Salve Regina.
David Lerma High school: Elliot Sport: Basketball College: Maranatha Baptist
Lerma, a junior guard, had eight points, three rebounds and three assists in an 88-73 loss to Dominican (Ill.) on Thursday, 10 points, five rebounds and four assists in Friday’s 89-59 win over Trinity Bible, 21 points, three rebounds and two steals in Saturday’s 60-57 win over Oak Hills Christian, and 11 points, three assists, three steals and two rebounds in Monday’s 82-79 loss to Knox.
Kat Tudor High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Basketball College: Oregon State
Tudor, a sophomore guard, had 15 points (on four 3-pointers) to go with four steals, two rebounds and a block in the Beavers’ 110-62 win over San Jose State on Sunday.
Monica Valenzuela High school: Lodi Sport: Basketball College: Holy Names University
Valenzuela, a freshman guard, had four points and three rebounds in Sunday’s loss to Academy of Art University.
Dylan Kranich High school: Tokay Sport: Wrestling College: Delta
Kranich, a freshman, placed sixth in the 184-pound weight class at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships on Saturday at Delta. Kranich lost to Mt. San Antonio’s Luis Melecio 8-3 in the quarterfinals after a first-round bye, then defeated Shasta’s Jackson Blankenship 5-3 in the consolation bracket. A pin over Leo Perez of Santa Ana put Kranich into the medal rounds, but a loss by pin to Tevin Bailey of Lassen sent him to the fifth-place match, where he was pinned again by Issac Sillas of Sac City.
Onkar Sidhu High school: Elliot Sport: Basketball College: Cosumnes River
Sidhu, a freshman starting guard, had eight points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 73-69 loss to Cuesta College on Dec. 6, then had seven points, four assists and three steals in an 84-57 loss to Reedley College on Thursday.
Jalen Valverde High school: Elliot Sport: Basketball College: Cosumnes River
Valverde, a freshman guard, had eight points and two rebounds against Cuesta, and nine points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals against Reedley.
Isaiah King-Halsey High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Basketball College: Monterey Peninsula
King-Halsey, a sophomore guard, had six points and four assists in
Thursday’s 84-71 win over North Idaho at the San Jose Classic, then had three points and two rebounds in Friday’s 84-68 win over L.A. Trade Tech. He finished the tournament with six points and two rebounds in Saturday’s 75-67 win over Merritt College.
Anthony Lewis High school: Lodi Sport: Basketball College: Modesto JC
Lewis, a sophomore guard, had 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in the Pirates’ 82-77 win over Mendocino on Friday.
Ezra Kiedrowski High school: Lodi Sport: Basketball Semi-pro: Stockton Team Trouble
Kiedrowski, a 2002 Lodi High graduate, had six points and two rebounds in Team Trouble’s home opener, a 141-84 win over the CA Golden Tigers out of Oakland. Team Trouble will play at home again at 7 p.m. on Friday against the Illinois Bulldogs at Stockton Arena.
