A celebration of the life of Jacob D. Sanford, 28, who died Jan. 6, will be today from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. at The Waterloo Gun and Bocce Club, 4343 N. Ashley Lane, Stockton.

A celebration of the life of Bruce A. Mettler, 71, of Lodi, who died Jan. 7, will be today at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 105 S. Ham Lane, Lodi. A reception is to follow immediately at the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds, Jackson Hall, 413 E. Lockeford St.

Interment at Lodi Memorial Cemetery will be private at Mettler’s request.
