Erika Quiñones Ambassador of the Year for her service with Chamber of Commerce

-

Erika Osheroff Quiñones has been named the Deanna Enright Ambassador of the Year by the Lodi Chamber of Commerce.

The recipient of the award is recognized for outstanding service through the Ambassadors program in roles such as welcoming new members, assisting with Chamber ribbon cuttings and special events, and promoting the Chamber throughout the community.

Professionally, Quiñones started Akire Designs in 2010 with the aim of serving as a boutique, consultative graphic design company.

Quiñones works with local businesses looking to update their designs, create new designs, or providing assistance in digital and print marketing. Quiñones’ journey into graphic design started with her creation of a video montage for her brother’s 30th wedding anniversary.

After seeing the reaction from the audience to her montage, she realized that artistic creation was a gift of hers and her journey into graphic design began.

Quiñones will be honored during the Chamber’s annual meeting and Outstanding Citizens Celebration on Thursday, Feb. 1, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Wine & Roses. Other honorees during the event include John Ledbetter as Outstanding Citizen of the Year, Habanero Hots as Small Business of the Year, FCB Homes as Business of the Year, John Anagnos as Agribusiness Person of the Year, and the Lodi Street Faire Volunteers for their years of service.
