ROBERT BLAIR MASON

Robert Blair Mason, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, passed away Friday Jan 19, 2018.

Robert was born on the family farm to Raymond and Janet Mason. He attended Houston School and graduated from Lodi High School in 1940. He worked in San Diego CA prior to being drafted in 1942 into the Army AIR Corps. He married Catherine Potts in 1943. They had two children, Robert Mason Jr. and Brenda Faccini.

The family lived in Alameda CA and Huntsville AL, always returning to visit and help with the family vineyard in Lodi. The family returned to Lodi in July 1967 to live. Robert purchased the family vineyard. Catherine died in 1989. Robert married Alpha Hinz in 1996 .

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Elmer and Eugene and sister Marjorie, his wife, Catherine, daughter Brenda, and grandson Carl and his second wife Alpha.

He is survived by his sisters, Maxine Wilson and Nora Honsvick and son Robert (Bobby) and wife Dorothy, grandchildren Jessica and Alexander and granddaughter Katie Faccini and great grandson, Stephen (Trey) McBurnett and great grandaughter Nevaeh Faccini. He was especially loved by nieces and nephews including Janet and Donny Mason.

Memorial Service is at Lodi Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, Jan 23 at 11am.
