MARILYN ALICE SOLARI

June 8, 1933 – January 23, 2018

Born and raised in San Joaquin County to Merle “Boots” and Anna Mayberry. She was 84 years old when she passed away. Marilyn spent most of her life in Linden, California and was married to George Solari for 58 years. She enjoyed living on her beautiful ranch and took great pride in caring for her horses and dogs.

She is survived by her daughter Georgeann Black, loving sister Patricia Podesta (husband Fred); her four grandchild­ren; David Black (wife Lori), Dana BlackChild­ress, Eric Solari and Keri Solari. She was blessed to have a close relationsh­ip with her great grandchild­ren; Hailey Black, Mariah Childress, Morgan Childress, Sydney Black and Brody Black. In addition, she is survived by three nephews and one niece; Fredrick Podesta, James Avansino, Victor Podesta and Tara Bryant.

Marilyn Solari is preceded in death by husband, George Solari (1925-2008), her son Dennis Solari (1954 -2014), her father, Merle “Boots” Mayberry(1912-2006), her mother, Anna Mayberr (1910 - 1983) and her nephew Joseph “Joe Ag” Avansino (1961-2017).

Service will be held at Chapel of flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park Friday February 2, 20018 at 11am at the, 14165 Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.
