Randall G. Ray passed away in his home at the age of 87 on January 24, 2018. He was born April 29, 1930, in Texas.

He served his country in the United States Navy for 25 years as a radioman communicat­ions specialist, earning the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfathe­r.

He enjoyed watching his favorite television show, NCIS, hummingbir­ds on his birdfeeder­s, and his greatgrand­children at play. His interests included science and nature shows, and listening to Irish tenors, Andre Bocelli, Andre Rieu, and classic country music.

Randall is survived by his children, Jan (Mike) Lopez, Stephanie (David Organ) Williams, and Margie (David) Iturraran; brothers, John Ray and Steve Ray; 6 grandchild­ren; and 7 greatgrand­children.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean H. Ray; sisters, Caroline, Anne, and Joal; and grandson, Randy King.

Friends are invited to visit, Thursday, February 1, from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at the funeral home Friday at 10:00 a.m. with committal to follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. A guest book may be signed at www.lodifunera­lhome.com.
