Ebert, Sefried lead Lodi track teams to victory

The Lodi High boys and girls track teams dominated Lincoln in a Tri-City Athletic League dual meet on Thursday.

The varsity boys had Lodi posting a 106.5-29.5 win over the visting Trojans. Erik Ebert won the 400-meter race at 51.74 and the 200 at 22.512 to lead the Flames.

Other winners for Lodi included Peter Vo in the 1,600 (4:35), Jayvin Herrejon in the shot put (45-11), Ryan Westerterp in the 110 hurdles (16.13), Bryan Quintero in the discus (148-7), James Angel in the 800 (2:07.6), Darrius Hart in the triple jump (39-4), Ethan Pipkin in the 300 hurdles (44.156), Damien Biegler in the high jump (5-8) and Lucas Fonda in the 3,200 (10:48.085).

The Lodi girls posted a 78-58 win over Lincoln. Paige Sefried won four events — the 400 at 1:00.853, the 100 at 13.221, the 300 hurdles at 46.752 and the 200 at 27.276. Emily Dubois added two victories in the triple jump (33-9) and the long jump (17-0).

Other Lodi wins came from Naomi Gonzalez in the discus (101-6), brooke Aberle in the 800 (2:30.22) and Ruth Hernandez in the 3,200 (12:16.560).

BASEBALL St. Mary’s 7, Tokay 0

Jaime Quesada, Jake Munoz and Ryan Lew each singled for Tokay (0-2 in the TCAL, 4-10) in Thursday’s loss. The Rams beat the Tigers 14-2 on Tuesday.

Big Valley Christian 5, Elliot Christian 0

Alexander Pinasco had a base hit in Thursday’s Central California Athletic Alliance road game for Elliot (3-5 in the CCAA, 5-8).

SOFTBALL Big Valley 5, Elliot 4

Entering the seventh inning of Thursday’s CCAA game, Elliot (2-3 in the CCAA, 2-4) led 4-1. Then Big Valley took advantage of two Eagle errors, plus a hit, for the win.

Annabelle Sepp tossed a 2hitter for Elliot. Sister Madi Sepp went 2-for-3 with a triple. Bailey Correia, Annabelle Sepp and Grace Burlington had a hit each.

SWIMMING Lincoln 104, Tokay 63

Julio Murguia and Hayden Wilson each won two events in Wednesday’s TCAL dual meet. Murgruia won the 200 freestyle at 1:50.14 and the 500 freestyle at 5:04.40, while Wilson won the 200 individual medley at 2:17.17 and the 100 freestyle at 53.59.

Both were part of the winning 200-free-relay team (1:38.73) and 400-free relay team (3:33.97), along with Collin Berninger and Jason Winters. Varsity girls

Lincoln 109, Tokay 59

Katie McLaine won two events for Tokay, taking the 200 individual medley at 2:18.41 and the 100 backstroke at 1:10.10.

GOLF Lodi 206, Tracy 264

Justin Gums and Dean Ky fired a 37 each for Lodi (5-0 in the TCAL, 10-1) in Thursday’s match at the Woodhbridg­e Golf and Country Club, par 37. Tyler Rowlands followed at 41, Jack LeBaron 44 adn Ryan Chrafka 47.
