Mitch Walding High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball Profession­al: Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Phillies Triple-A)

Walding, a 25-year-old third baseman, is back in the minors after a rough first callup to the Majors. He had a double and a run in Sunday’s 6-2 win over Charlotte, then had a solo home run in Monday’s 94 loss to Buffalo.

Gio Brusa High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball Profession­al: San Jose Giants (Giants AAdv.)

Brusa, a 24-year-old first baseman, hit three home runs in Sunday’s game against Modesto, finishing with six RBIs and five runs. He had a single on Saturday, a home run and a double on Friday and a triple on June 6.

Nick Dentoni High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball Summer ball: Willmar Stingers (Northwoods League)

Dentoni is 2-0 this summer after Saturday’s start in a 6-5 win over Duluth, during which he went four innings, allowing four earned runs on seven hits and four walks.

Jacob Jordan High school: Lodi Sport: Baseball Summer ball: Sacramento Heat

Jordan made his first appearance of the season in a 9-8 loss to the South Bay Storm, allowing four runs (three earned) in two innings ot relief.
