Mitch Walding High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball Profession­al: Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Phillies Triple-A)

Walding, a 25-year-old third baseman, had a double against Buffalo on June 12, then went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run the next day. During a four-game series against Pawtucket, he had a single and an RBI in two straight games, then was 2-for4 with a home run and three RBIs. It was his ninth homer of the year.

Gio Brusa High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball Profession­al: San Jose Giants (Giants A-Adv.)

Brusa, a 24year-old first baseman, had a solo home run against Stockton on June 12, his 11th of the season, then had a single against Visalia on Friday.

Alex Camacho High school: Ben Holt Sport: Baseball Profession­al: GCL Braves (Braves rookie) Camacho, who was drafted in the 37th round earlier this month, made his debut for the Braves’ Gulf Coast League rookie team on Tuesday, with two scoreless innings pitched, with two walks and a strikeout, in a 7-1 victory over the GCL Pirates.

Brad Reeves High school: Lodi Sport: Golf College: Arizona

Reeves, who just finished his sophomore year with the Wildcats’ golf team, is second in the 107th California Amateur Championsh­ip after stroke play at La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad. With Tuesday’s 1-under 71, Reeves is 4 under through two rounds, and now heads into the match play part of the tournament, which pits the top 32 players from stroke play in a knockout format.
