The Child Abuse Prevention Council offers a selection of support services to San Joaquin County residents.

• Child and Family Counseling: For children, teens and families with full-scope Medi-Cal, including group, individual and family therapy.

• S.A.F.E. at Lodi Unified schools: Clinical services on school campuses and home-based case management services.

NAMI San Joaquin leads a number of support groups, peer-to-peer programs, and other services in San Joaquin County. Its Lodi and Stockton programs:

• NAMI Connection: For anyone 18 and older dealing with mental health challenges. Held at 6 p.m. each Friday at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, 975 S. Fairmont Ave., Lodi. Call Drew Strachan at 209-366-4923.

• Family-to-Family Support: For family members of people with mental health challenges. The next meeting is 7 p.m. June 28 at Lodi Avenue Baptist Church, 2301 W. Lodi Ave., Lodi. Call Irene Sherman at 209-368-1469 or Joselyn Spurgeon at 209-369-5936.

• NAMI Connection — Spanish: For those 18 and older dealing with mental health challenges. Held at 5:30 p.m. each Friday at Behavioral Health Services, Conference Room B, 1212 N. California St., Stockton. Call 209-468-3755.
