The Home Church
The Home Church will host Freedom Fest 2018 on June 1 with a patriotic observance at 10:30 a.m. and a free outdoor celebration at 6 p.m. featuring a cow milking contest, truck and car show, carnival rides and games and a fireworks show.
The celebration also includes a performance by Jeff Carnie & Spectrum as well as multiple booths selling food.

First United Methodist Church
First United Methodist Church offers two senior exercise programs, open to the public, in its fellowship hall.
Energizers, a low-impact aerobic class for active seniors, meets from 9 to 10 a.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with fees of $6 per class or $36 per month.
Pacesetters, an exercise program for seniors who wish to remain seated or standing and exercise at a slower pace, meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:15 to 11 a.m., with fees of $4 per class or $30 per month.
The church also offers two free book clubs, with the afternoon group meeting at 1 p.m. on the fourth Friday of each month in the church library and the evening group meeting the last Monday of each month at an off-site location. The church is now accepting enrollment for its preschool for children ages 2 to 4 for the 2018-19 school year.

Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church
Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold its annual Summerfest at 9 a.m. Sunday, following the vacation Bible school’s closing service, featuring games, prizes and a chili cook-off.

First Baptist Church of Lodi
First Baptist Church of Lodi will hold a service at Lodi Lake at 9 a.m. July 1, followed by a free pancake breakfast. A chapel service will also be held at 11 a.m.
The church also hosts a support group for parents and caregivers of children and adults with special needs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every second Tuesday.
The church also offers free lay counseling to the community, with trained volunteers available to talk about personal, marriage or family problems.
