Red Cross seeks blood donors

The American Red Cross will be collecting blood donations from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 27 and July 11 at Hutchins Street Square Community Center, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.

Parkinson’s disease support group

A support group for Parkinson’s disease patients and caregivers will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at GracePoint Church (formerly Temple Baptist), 801 S. Lower Sacramento Road, Lodi.

The Home Church

The Home Church will host Freedom Fest 2018 on Sunday with a patriotic observance at 10:30 a.m. and a free outdoor celebratio­n at 6 p.m. featuring a cow milking contest, truck and car show, carnival rides and games and a fireworks show.

The celebratio­n also includes a performanc­e by Jeff Carnie & Spectrum as well as multiple booths selling food.

Lodi High School Class of 1988 reunion

The Lodi High School Class of 1988 reunion will be held at 5:30 p.m. July 21 at Lodi Beer Company, 105 S. School St., Lodi. Admission is $50. To register by July 10, call Todd Oesterman at 209-327-7126.

Charity workout at Galt gym

Pure Form Personal Fitness Training owner and trainer Arnold Salazar will host an open house and lead eight workout classes at his gym in Galt from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 15 to raise money to research ankylosing spondyliti­s, a form of spinal arthritis, with proceeds going directly to ThisASLife.

The open house will take place from 7 to 9 a.m., followed by a break for church with classes resuming at 12:30 p.m.

Galt horse riding program is seeking volunteers

The Galt Horse Assisted Learning and Enrichment Program is seeking volunteers to work at their Summer Horsemaste­r Camp July 11,18 and 25.

Volunteers do not need previous experience with horses, and a volunteer training will be held at 10 a.m. June 27 at the GALEP Arena behind McCaffrey Middle School, 997 Park Terrace Drive, Galt. The Filipino American National Historical Society, Stockton Chapter is seeking nomination­s of people to be recognized at its awards luncheon on Oct. 20 for its dedication to preserving Filipino American history in areas such as athletics, business, education, arts and entertainm­ent and more.
