RONALD DEAN SLATE JR.

Ronald Dean Slate Jr. was born on October 24, 1961 in Orange County, CA and was called home to Jesus on Sunday, July 1, 2018. He moved to Lodi in the 8th grade and attended St. Peter Lutheran School. In 1980 he graduated from Lodi High School, and then received his AA from Delta Junior College.

Ron owned his own window washing business, loved all his customers, he was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, and had numerous hobbies. His greatest joys were his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and helping others however, whenever, and whatever they needed. He was always eager to go fishing with his two uncles, of course his nieces and nephews, and was also always up to improving his shooting skills at the indoor or outdoor ranges.

He was greeted at heaven’s gates by his father, Ron Slate Sr., his sister Renee Slate, his brotherin-law Marc Boriack and all of his grandparents. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Mary Slate, his sister Robin Boriack, his brother Ryan Slate and his sister-in-law Susan Slate. He was so close and always eager to do anything with his nephews Andrew Slate and Steven Boriack and his nieces Tina Brodston, Emily Reisinger, Elizabeth Milbauer and Melanie Slate. He also is survived by his great niece Isabella Schiaffino, and his great nephews Logan and Elliot Milbauer.

A visitation will be this July 5th from 4 – 8 pm at Cherokee Memorial Park (831 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA 95240.) A celebration of life services will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church (2400 Oxford Way, Lodi CA) on Friday, July 6th at 11:00am.
