SHARON ANN WILLIAMS

-

Surrounded by her family, Sharon Ann Williams passed away at home, on June 28, 2018, at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd “Dutch” Williams, who died just two months prior.

Sharon was brought into this world on October 28, 1942 in a tiny town, Parker’s Prairie, Minnesota. She spent her early childhood on a small farm there before moving to Lodi, Ca in the 1950’s. After graduating from Lodi High School, Sharon had dreams of becoming a teacher but put those dreams on hold and, instead, married her first husband, Joseph Keenan, and started her family.

Despite the demands of raising her four children, Sharon began a career with the Lodi Unified School District. She filled various positions there, ranging from Switchboard Operator to Secretary to the Assistant Superintendent. She loved her work and she was very successful. LUSD was a big part of Sharon’s life, she met the love of her life, “Dutch”, there and they eventually married. Sharon and Dutch both retired from the School District and spent their golden years together.

Upon their retirement, the pair traveled extensively. When they weren’t traveling, Sharon and Dutch spent a lot of time on their boat and were members of the Stockton Yacht Club. Sharing a love of golf, they joined the Woodbridge Country Club and played as often as their busy lives allowed.

Sharon is survived by her children, Kerrie Keenan, Cindy Moon (Russ), Cathy White (Matt), and Joe Keenan (Terri); eight grandchildren; Tara, Dean, Holly, Danny, Joe, David, Sarah and Kaylee; five great grandchildren, Jakob, Izabella, Alana, Cashus and Piper and her step-children, Tom Williams (Jane), Linda Odell (Tom) and Janie Hall (Jerry) and their families.

Friends and Family are invited to attend the memorial service, officiated by Pastor Mark Price, on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at noon, at Lodi Funeral Home 725 S. Fairmont Ave. in Lodi, CA. A private committal will follow; however, guests are invited to the reception to be held at 9645 E. Acampo Rd. in Acampo, CA. at 1:30pm the same day.
