WALTER MACK COLEMAN

Walter Mack Coleman 84 passed away on June 28, 2018 at his home in Acampo after a battle with cancer. His funeral service will be held on Monday July 9th at 10:00 AM at the Lodi funeral home followed by the internment at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Walter was born on January 22, 1934 in Weatherford Oklahoma to Emerald Walter Coleman and Myrtle Iva Dean Coleman. Walter was a boiler operator and spent 27 years in the Navy before retiring in 1976. After retiring from the Navy, Walter worked for Campbells Soup and Tri Valley Growers. He married Beatrice Ann Olivieri in 1962. They raised 5 children Victor Coleman, Kathy Thompson Neithercutt, the late Walter Coleman Jr., Joey Coleman and Rickie Coleman. He had 9 grandchildren. Jennifer Thompson, Russell Thompson, Jessica Obenshain, Rosie Arrendondo, Samantha Teeple, Zack Coleman, Samantha Broomfield, Tiffany Broomfield and Walter Coleman. He has 1 son inlaw and 2 daughter in-laws. Marc Neithercutt, Carol Coleman and Christine Willie. He also had 13 great grandchildren. Walter lost Beatrice in 2002 and later married Viola Mae Dean Coleman they were married 13 years before she passed in 2017. He has 4 siblings Dean, Ben, Tahwahnah & Jerry. Walter had a big heart and was loved and respected by all that knew him, he will be dearly missed. The family wants to thank everyone for all the love and support over the last few months.
