JOHN KEENER

John Aaron Keener passed away peacefully at home on July 5th at the age of 78. He was born on August 17, 1939, in Rosamond, CA to John and Inna Keener.

He retired from East Side Winery after 28 years. He enjoyed camping at the ocean, golfing, trips to casinos, SF 49ers and SF Giants.

John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margarette, daughter Deborah Amos, son Michael Keener, his five grandchildren Jason Amos (Melissa), Erin Keener, Amber Keener (Jordan Miller), Shawna Conley (Andrew), Kayla Archer, his four great-grandsons Dillon Rempfer, Aiden Fields, Collin Amos, Nolan Conley, and his two brothers Herbert Keener (Shirley) and Paul Keener (Mary).

Preceding him was his parents, John and Inna Keener, a daughter, Patricia Keener, and great-grandson Lucas Conley.

Services will be held Friday, July 13th at 10 a.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Hospice of San Joaquin.
