LOREN BRUCE DICKERSON

Loren Bruce Dickerson passed away on July 15th 2018. He was born in Lehi Utah to James William and Margaret V. Dickerson. There were 6 children in the family: Vea Lorraine who died at age 3, Robert Von (deceased), William Arnold, Loren Bruce, Marlyn, Margaret Sherry. The family moved to Tracy CA in 1938 where the children attended school. Loren served in the U. S. Marine Corps in 1950 -53 and was deployed in Korea for a year. In December 1952 he married his sweetheart Letha Joyce Klander in Wilmington NC. Together they created a nice family of 3 children: Eric Lee, David Loren, and Linda Joyce. Grandchildren are Sarah, Jennifer, Linsey, Heidi and 2 great grandchidren Alyssa and Kadin.

Loren was a sweet natured and compassionate man, a good husband and father. A hard worker all his life until he was disabled by Parkinsons Disease and Diabetes. His last few years were a struggle with pain and illness, and now he is safely home with his Heavenly Father. He was predeceased by his oldest son, Eric Lee Dickerson and is survived by his wife Letha Joyce and son David Loren, Daughter Linda Joyce , son-in-law Max and grandchildren listed above.
