The hypocrisy of Hilary Clinton

-

Editor: In the more than 600 days since the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton has criticized President Trump every few days, and acted like one of the sorest losers in American political history.

When the Trump White House indicated on July 19 that it had yet to make a decision on whether to allow Russia to question a former American ambassador, Clinton fired off yet another political attack: “To see the White House even hesitate to defend a diplomat is deeply troubling.” One can only wonder if Clinton, who has no selfawareness of her many failings, remembers her own role in Benghazi.

In 2016, Greg Hicks, former deputy chief of mission for Libya, noted:” The Benghazi Committee’s report graphically illustrates the magnitude of her failure. It states that during August 2012, the State Department reduced the number of U.S. security personnel assigned to the Embassy in Tripoli from 34 to 6, despite a rapidly deteriorating security situation in both Tripoli and Benghazi." Thus, according to the report, “there were no surplus security agents” to travel to Benghazi with Ambassador Stevens “without leaving the Embassy in Tripoli at severe risk.”

Clinton’s comment about President Trump drew a sharp retort from Kris Paronto, one of the American security personnel who fought to defend other Americans in Benghazi and survived. “Are you f-----g kidding me @HillaryClinton ?!!! You left Ambassador Stevens and us to die in Benghazi then spewed lie after lie to the family members of my dead teammates and to the world to cover it up, and now you have the nerve to talk about defending diplomats?! You are disgusting!”

Tens of millions of Americans, all branded as “deplorable” and “irredeemable” by Clinton, would agree with Paronto.
