Mitch Walding High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball Profession­al: Philadelph­ia Phillies

Walding, a 25-year-old third baseman, was called up to the majors for the third time this season on July 20 after a 2home-run fay on July 17, both of them solo homers. In his latest stint with the Phillies, he’s gone 0-for-5 with three strikeouts and a walk.

Gio Brusa High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball Profession­al: San Jose Giants (Giants AAdv.)

Brusa, a 24-year-old first baseman, also had a recent two-home-run day, going 3for-4 with two dingers and a double, with three RBIs and three runs, in Sunday’s 85 loss to lake Elsinore. He had a single in Monday’s loss.

Alex Camacho High school: Ben Holt Sport: Baseball Profession­al: GCL Braves (Braves rookie league)

Camacho, a 21-year-old right-hander, pitched a scoreless inning of relief in Thursday’s 5-2 loss to the GCL Blue Jays. He had one strikeout and one hit batsman.

Nick Dentoni High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball Summer Ball: Willmar Stingers (Northwoods League)

Dentoni, a freshman right-hander, went five innings for his third win of the summer in a 9-3 win over La Crosse on Friday, allowing one run on three hits, with five strikeouts and six walks.

Jacob Jordan High school: Lodi Sport: Baseball Summer Ball: Sacramento Heat (Golden State Collegiate Baseball League)

Jordan, a freshman left-hander, pitched two innings of relief in a 7-0 loss to Top Speed on Sunday, allowing three runs on four hits. On July 18, he pitched three innings of a 5-4 win over Atwater, allowing four runs (one earned) on five hits.
