Harry Wiebe, loving husband, father, grandfathe­r & great grandfathe­r (Opa), went to be with the Lord July 21, 2018, at the age of 93.

Harry was born in Russia in 1925 to Rev. Jacob & Susanna Wiebe. He served during WWII in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a belly & tail gunner on a B24 Bomber.

At the age of 20 he married Joanne Schroeder, the love of his life for 68 yrs. They lived in Canada until they moved to Lodi in 1949 where they raised their 3 children.

They attended Temple Baptist, now GracePoint , where he was a member for 69 yrs. Harry was regularly involved in a variety of ministries throughout his many years at GracePoint church.

He provided gracious & consistent leadership on various leadership committees including the deacon board, board of elders, & was regularly active in touching the lives of others in very personal ways on the Member Care visitation team as well as involvemen­t in countless acts of service.

Harry was a proud member of the Gideon’s Internatio­nal & involved in placing many Bibles.

He managed Cal-Gas & Appliances in Lodi & Stockton. He retired after 40 yrs.

If ever you couldn’t find Harry at home, he could usually be found at In-N-Out Burger with the crew, family or friends!

Harry is preceded in death by his wife Joanne, sisters Kay Friesen & Mary McVeeters & is survived by his loving children, Ken (Donna) Wiebe; Gary (Christine) Wiebe; Susan (Carl) Wilkerson; 4 grandchild­ren & 10 greatgrand­children.

Visitation will be held Tuesday July 31, 11:008:00pm at Cherokee Vineyard Chapel 14165 N. Beckman Rd. Lodi. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 1st at 1:00 at GracePoint Church 801 S. Lower Sacramento Rd., Lodi.
