PATRICIA WASIK

Patricia Wasik passed away July 28th at her home surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 71, after losing her battle with cancer. Patricia was born June 18, 1947 in Lodi, California to Irene and Anthony Wasik, and was a loving daughter, sister and aunt.

She loved her nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and would make personalized books and gifts for all of their birthdays and Christmases. She loved to bake for Christmas, baking months in advance so she would have enough not only to give family, but to neighbors and all her friends at work.

In addition to her family, Patricia loved NASCAR and followed all the races throughout the year. She loved her “work” family at M&R Packing where she worked for 23 years. She worked until a short time prior to her death.

She loved to travel visiting friends and family in Montana, Connecticut and throughout the Northwest along with vacationing in Hawaii. She loved going to the ocean and could sit for hours listening to the ocean waves.

Patricia is survived by her mother, two brothers, and seven nephews. grand-nieces and grand nephews.

Patricia is preceded in death by her father, Anthony and brother, David.

The Wasik family extends a special thanks to the San Joaquin Hospice organization and to Eréndira, Enriqueta and Marina, her caregivers, for their help and loving care of Patricia.

Patricia will be dearly missed.

Services to be held at Lodi Funeral Home Friday, August 3rd, at 10 am. Burial following at Cherokee Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers. donations may be made to the San Joaquin Hospice Organization.
