Mitch Walding High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball Professional: Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (Phillies AAA) Walding, a 25-year-old third baseman, went 2-for4 with a run against Indianapolis on Aug. 8, then had a double and an RBI against Louisville on Aug. 10. He’s now on a three-game hitting streak, with a double, two walks and a run against Louisville on Sunday, a 2-for-4 day with an RBI and a run against Durham on Monday and a single with an RBI on Tuesday.

Gio Brusa High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball Professional: San Jose Giants (Giants A-Adv.)

Brusa, a 25-year-old first baseman, had a single against Stockton on Saturday, then went 2-for-5 with a home run and two scores against Inland Empire on Tuesday.

Alex Camacho High school: Ben Holt Sport: Baseball Professional: GCL Braves (Braves rookie league)

Camacho, a 22-year-old right-hander, pitched two innings of relief against the GCL Tigers on Tuesday, allowing one run on four hits to keep his season earned-run average at 4.37.
