Computer classes at the Lodi Public Library
Lodi Parkinson’s Disease Support Group meeting
The Lodi Parkinson’s Disease Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. today at GracePoint Church, 801 S. Lower Sacramento Road, Lodi. The Lodi Public Library will hold the following computer classes:
• Managing Files and Folders: Sept. 11 and 12 at 3 p.m. Participants learn to recognize, move, sort and back up files. Prerequisite: Basic computer skills.
• Tabs, Tables and Folders: Sept. 14, 17, 18 and 25 at 9 a.m. Participants learn to use tabs, make tables and create forms on Microsoft Word. Prerequisite: Experience using Microsoft Word.
• Windows 10 Essentials: Sept. 19 and 20 at 9 a.m. Participants learn to use Windows 10 features, set up the program and learn about security. Prerequisite: Basic computer skills.
• Microsoft Excel: Sept. 18, 19, 24 and 25 at 9 a.m. Participants learn to create and use Excel spreadsheets and charts. Prerequisite: Basic computer skills.
• Code Steam: Thursdays from Sept. 6 to Oct. 25 from 4 to 5:15 p.m. Participants learn video design skills. Age limit: Fifth- through eighth-graders.

Haute Couture Societe meeting
The Haute Couture Societe will meet Saturday at San Joaquin Delta College’s Danner Hall, 5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton. A social hour takes place at 9:30 a.m., followed by a general meeting and show and tell at 10 a.m. and a presentation on quilting by guest speaker Karen Boutte at 11 a.m.
Lodi Newcomer’s Club luncheon all set
The Lodi Newcomer’s Club will host its September luncheon on Sept. 13 at String’s Italian Restaurant, 2314 W. Kettleman Lane, Lodi.
Social hour begins at 11 a.m., and lunch is served at noon featuring a choice of shrimp scampi or meat ravioli.
