Flames turn up heat on Tracy

The Lodi High boys water polo team improved to 3-1 in the Tri-City Athletic League and 115 overall on Wednesday with an amazing 25-5 win over Tracy.

Jack LeBaron had eight goals for Lodi. Victor Plunkett followed with five goals, Eli Kim four and Matt McCay and Shane McKay three each. Goalie Tristan Gorham got some time away from the net for the Flames, as he scored a goal, along with Alex Elrod, who also had seven steals and five assists. Gorham had two saves.

Varsity girls Lodi 14, Tracy 5

Elisa Grim and Jackie Westerterp had three goals each for Lodi (3-1 in TCAL) in Wednesday’s league match at the Bulldogs’ pool. Hannah Wilson followed with two goals. Brooklynn Shull, along with Elizabeth Decko, McKenzie Campbell, Lily Kim and Janelle Kennedy had one goal each. Lodi goalie Kelsey Siria had eight saves.

Junior varsity boys Lodi 21, Tracy 9

Braden Endter scored six goals for the Flames and teammate Seth Hillstrom five. Max Bourdreau was next with four goals, Lucas Boudreau, plus Daniel Miranda and Anthony Salazar one each. Goalie Sam Meyers had seven saves.

Junior varsity girls Lodi 9, Tracy 8

Madison DeCristofaro had four goals for Lodi. Taylor Bryant, Sarah Campbell, Avery Hillstrom, Danielle Reed and Madison Rishwain had one each. Goalie Lydia Campbell had seven saves.
