Tom’s family was blessed with him coming into this world on December 11, 1933 in Hagerman New Mexico. He went home to be with his Heavenly Father and to sing with the choir of angels on October 10, 2018.

Tom was a native of New Mexico until his family moved to California at the age of 10. Tom grew up in Waterford and went to Oakdale High School where he lettered in Football and Track and was also in Chorus where he sang in a few musical plays. He received a full ride scholarshi­p to COP College of the Pacific, now University of the Pacific where he played football and was also on their track team. He received his BA as a Civil Engineer.

He married the love of his life, Pat Rumsey and was happily married for 63 years. He worked for Pacific Railroad for 2 years and then started his career with Teichert Constructi­on and he was a civil engineer for them for 40 plus years bidding on the big highway jobs. He was a past member of Kiwanis, past member of Calvary Bible ChurchChoi­r member and a member of the Teichert Retiree Group.

Tom had many interests. He loved bike riding, snow skiing, vacationin­g in Hawaii, traveling with his wife, gardening, building owl boxes, anything football and he loved animals especially his daughter’s terrier dog Spencer.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Henry and Obera Perry; sisters Irma Jean Perry, Mildred Finch and Mozelle Miller. He is survived by his wife Pat Perry; daughters, Pamela Machado (Mel); Rene’ Primasing (John); grandchild­ren ; Janelle Riddle-Orth (Jay); Brandon Riddle (Shannon); Shelley Primasing and Tara Primasing. He had five great grandchild­ren; Dylan, Regan, Avery, Chase and Cambri. He was a beloved Husband, Daddy, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. His brother, Henry (Tex) Perry, Sisters, Wanda Hensley; Myrna Stine; Betty Bakker; Peggy Peterson; Mary Stanley and many nephews and nieces. We all will truly miss this loving and kindhearte­d man that was a devoted husband, father, grandfathe­r, great grandfathe­r, brother, uncle and a friend to so many.

The Family will be having a Celebratio­n of Life on October 26th at 11:00AM at Wine & Roses Garden Ballroom.
