Barajas, a sophomore, made it to the Flight B doubles semifinals with teammate Sarah Kellogg before falling to a team from Fresno Pacific at the UC
Santa Cruz Slug Invitational. In the singles bracket, she defeated Cal Lutheran’s Carolina Groff in the Flight B consolation semifinals, then took down Cal Lutheran’s Nicole Alvarez in the consolation final. Taylor Galya High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Tennis
College: Stanislaus State Galya, a senior, won the Flight B doubles bracket with teammate Amila Gogalija at the Slug Invitational with a win over Cal Lutheran’s Joann Taylor and Sophia Gawrit, and followed that with a Flight B singles championship with a win over Fresno Pacific’s Sanne Brull.
