Breakfast and lunch menus

The following is a list of next week’s lunch menus for area schools and LOEL Center. Choice of 1 percent milk or nonfat chocolate milk is served with each school meal. LOEL Center lunches are available to anyone age 60 and older; for reservatio­ns call 209-369-3920.

Lodi Unified K-8 breakfast

Monday: Whole grain rich breakfast pizza with turkey sausage, oatmeal bar with cheese stick, whole grain rich assorted cereal, fresh fall fruit, and milk.

Tuesday: Homemade apple oat muffin with cheese stick, scrambled eggs with toast, whole grain rich assorted cereal, fresh fall fruit, fruit juice, and milk.

Wednesday: New peach turnover, Nutrigrain bar with cheese stick, whole grain rich assorted cereal, fresh fall fruit, dried fruit, and milk.

Thursday: Fresh made chocolate chip orange scone, yogurt cup with graham, whole grain rich assorted cereal, fresh fall fruit, fruit juice, and milk.

Friday: New breakfast burrito with cheese and egg, bagel with cream cheese and jelly, whole grain rich assorted cereal, fresh fall fruit, and milk.

Lodi Unified K-8 lunch

Monday: Cheesy lasagna, hamburger, bean and cheese burrito, spring lettuce mix, cucumber, baby carrots, bean mix, applesauce, dried fruit.

Tuesday: Hearty chicken and wild rice soup with breadstick, chicken and waffle sandwich, protein meal with Wowbutter sandwich, cheese stick, and graham, spring lettuce mix, turnip sticks, cauliflowe­r, red bell pepper, fresh fall fruit.

Wednesday: Baja barbecue meatballs over rice, crispy chicken sandwich, cheese pizza, spring lettuce mix, cucumbers, zucchini sticks, broccoli, diced fruit, fresh fall fruit.

Thursday: California Thursday’s new chile cheese tamale, scratch made bbq pulled pork sandwich, Mexi-pocket, spring lettuce mix, coleslaw, jicama sticks, peas, and fresh fall fruit.

Friday: Homemade pork carnita taco with Spanish rice, mozzarella breadstick­s with marinara, Baja fish sticks with biscuit, spring lettuce mix, roasted butternut squash, radishes, baked cinnamon apples, fresh fall fruit.

Middle school lunch

Monday: Cheesy lasagna, hamburger, bean and cheese burrito, pizza variety, entrée salad variety, spring lettuce mix, bean mix, baby carrots, fresh fall fruit.

Wednesday: Beef stroganoff, buttered noodles, butternut squash, Mandarin orange, whole wheat roll, margarine, milk.

Thursday: Barbecue pork ribs, macaroni and cheese, steamed broccoli, apple cobbler, whole wheat roll, margarine, milk.

Friday: French dip sandwich, roast beef, hoagie, au jus, horseradis­h, salad, dressing, collard greens, fruit salad, milk.
