DELORES ‘DEE’ FIORI

Dee Fiori passed away at home, surrounded by loving family. She was born in Antelope North Dakota and grew up in Lodi, CA. She raised her family in Ohio and enjoyed the remainder of her life, with her devoted husband of 23 years, Jack Fiori.

Dee had a sparkling and vibrant personalit­y. She was loved by everybody she met. She was kind, generous and prioritize­d her family. She was so proud of her grandchild­ren who all achieved Bachelor’s or Advanced College Degrees. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lodi, The American Business Women’s Associatio­n, Christian Women’s, Lodi Italian Club and past Cub Scout Leader and High School Football Booster. She was an incredibly talented seamstress and crafter. She created impeccably beautiful gardens and was the best cook. She loved nature and forest critters. Her social network was far reaching and loved their daily lunches at the “Butcher Shop”. As a humanitari­an, she contribute­d to numerous charities, including Lodi House, Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Boys Town, Disabled American Veterans, Cancer Kids, Church Missions, etc.

She graduated from Lodi High School, attended the San Joaquin General School of Nursing and Kent State University, where she earned her Registered Nursing Degree. She was a Medical - Surgical Hospital Charge Nurse, until retirement.

She is preceded in death by her spouse of 38 years, Danny Gallo and by siblings Levi and Herbert Mayer, Clara Neil, Esther Meyer and Helen Alegre. She is survived by husband Jack Fiori and sister Irene Anderson. She was the beloved mother of Danelle Gallo, Dan Gallo (Amy), David Gallo (Nada), Doreen Bestolarid­es (Steve), Jack Fiori Jr. (Gwen) and Joe Fiori (Barbara); Grandchild­ren Jodie Johnson-Hardy (Tony), Bryan Johnson (Misty), Katina Gallo, Danelle Helen Gallo, David Gallo Jr., Danny Bestolarid­es, Paul David Bestolarid­es, Lt. Dan Gallo (Tori), Antoinette Moribito (Capt. T. Robert), Jenny Williams (Jimmy), David Fiori (Dana), Joey Fiori (Lindsey), Adam Fiori (Brooke), Christa Fiori and ten beautiful great grandchild­ren with one on the way.

Funeral Arrangemen­ts are by Cherokee Memorial Park 209-334-9613. Public visitation will be Wednesday, November 7 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial park 14165 N Beckman Rd. Lodi, CA. Services will be Thursday, November 8th at First Baptist Church 267 N. Mills Avenue Lodi, CA 95242, at 11:00 a.m. Reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin 3888 Pacific Avenue Stockton, CA 95204.
