MAGDALINA JOB BINGEN ‘MAGGIE’

Maggie Bingen left this world on November 10th, 2018 at the age of 95. She was born in Linton, North Dakota on December 12th, 1922 to Magdalina ( Miller ) and David Job. She was born and raised on the farm in Linton, later moving into the town of Bismarck, North Dakota.

She graduated from high school and worked at the courthouse in Bismarck as a secretary.

She met and married Olaf ( Ole ) Bingen in North Dakota. They moved to Lodi, California in 1957. Ole retired from the City of Lodi in the Electric Department. Maggie worked as a Secretary for the American Legion and an electric company on Lodi Avenue. She was a member of St. Paul’s American Lutheran Church. She enjoyed various local clubs and crafts.

They enjoyed nights out dancing at the club parties and the good old days on Sacramento Street.

She is survived by her son, David John Bingen, her daughter, Penny Mae Bingen Meyers, son in law, Nick Meyers and grandchild­ren, Angela (David), Janelle and Jason ( Penny ) .

She is preceded in death by her only sibling Andrew as a child, her husband Ole in the year 2000, and her grandson Joe Meyers in 1995.

Private inurnment will take place at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributi­ons may be made in memory of her to Hospice of San Joaquin at 3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA. 95204.
