13-year-old nails holein-one at Micke Grove

Camryn Collins nailed a hole-in-one on Saturday at Micke Grove Golf Course.

Collins, 13, hit the 136-yard shot on the seventh hole on Saturday with her driver. Jose Pena, who works in the pro shop at Micke Grove, witnessed the shot on the par-3 hole.

BASKETBALL Ben Holt 62, Christian 54, OT Elliot

Ben Holt outscored the Eagles 11-3 in the overtime period on Tuesday to spoil Elliot’s season opener.

Nate Gotgotao-Washington led the Eagles with 20 points, followed by Zrebric Humphreys’ 19 points and eight rebounds. Mason Jones added five points, Alexander Pinasco and Caleb Williams had two each and Roy Itcovichi and Ryan Ehresman had two each. Junior varsity

Liberty Ranch 61, Lodi 54

Isaac Bishop scored 23 points for the Flames, but it wasn’t enough in Tuesday’s loss. Stephanos Pappas added 12 points, Max Graves had seven points (and took three charges), Gabe Biagioni had seven point, Stephano Casciaro had three and Tony Riviera had two.

Liberty Ranch 56, Lodi 40

Kevin Dondero led the Flames with eight points in Tuesday’s loss, along with seven from Steven Whiting, five each from Carter Swicegood and Jack Youngberg, four from Dylan Johnson, three each from Owen Faulkner and Hayden Moreno, two each from Angel Landa and Mason Stout and one from Dylan Scott.
