Brett Young High school: Lodi
Sport: Baseball
College: Delta State (Miss.) Young, a senior center fielder, went 3for-5 in the Statesmen’s’ season opener, a 9-1 victory over East Central, with two RBIs, two stolen bases and two runs. In the final game of the three-game series between the two teams, Young had two walks and a run in a 3-1 victory. Korina Krueg High school: Tokay

College: CSU Monterey Bay Krueg, a senior shortstop, had a single and a stolen base in the Otters’ season opener, a 7-4 win over Academy of Art University at the Desert Stinger Classic in Las Vegas. She had a single and a run in a 6-5 loss to Western Oregon, then went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and a run in a 3-2 loss to Minot State. David Lerma High school: Elliot

College: Maranatha Baptist Lerma, a senior guard, had eight points, six steals, five assists and seven rebounds in a 92-78 win over Emmaus, then had four points, three assists and a pair of boards in a 90-54 win over Faith Bible. Ethan Torres High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Baseball

Kiedrowski, a 2002 Lodi grad, had five points, six rebounds and three steals in a 161-159, double-overtime win, then had 12 points, six boards and two steals in a 155-98 win in a double-header against the Shizuoka Gymrats out of Japan.

Lodi Basketball Team Trouble
Gaarder, a 2010 Lodi grad, had eight points and five rebounds in the first game against Shizuoka, then had 10 points, five assists and three rebounds in the second game.
