• Served as senior manager for economic development for the City of Ocala, Fla., from 2008 to 2010.

• Served as the senior manager of redevelopment, Industry sector development, and legislative affairs for the City of Ocala, Fla. from 2010 to 2015.

• Served as human resources and strategic initiatives manager for the City of Lincoln, Calif., from 2015 to 2018.

Education: Received a bachelor’s degree in consumer services from Ohio State University where she earned Summa Award for academic excellence. She also obtained her master’s degree in public administration, public finance, economics/public administration, from Ohio State University. She also holds an MBA in management, business administration and management from Saint Leo University in Florida.

Hobbies: “My husband and I really enjoy biking. He is actually from Holland and when we go back to visit his family we bike a lot, because the biking trails are so well maintained there and you can bike from one city to another. We also love being outdoors and hiking, I am huge fan of the arts and like to study languages.”

Dream vacation: “I would like to visit the South Pacific Islands. Just the scenery would be so beautiful to see and experience. I would also like to visit Australia.”
