Don’t be so quick to judge homeless

-

Editor: A wealthy woman told me that all people are one paycheck away from being homeless. Whether it be from foreclosure, lawsuit, eviction, fire, medical, jail, drugs, rehab, lost job, etc. The list of reasons are endless.

I know this because it happened to me twice in my life. The first time I was evicted and the second time was for medical reasons. I was lucky to have owned a car. Saved my life.

The ones out there without a car, my heart bleeds for you. They have close to nothing. And hope is slim. The people are displaced and already in survival mode. They are people.

You, you know who you are. You take a bulldozer and rip out everything in your path like you’re clearing a trench for some good deed? Displacing these people. Yes, they are people.

Now without medications, food, clothing, blankets, water, etc. What right do you have? Where is your empathy and compassion? Simple human decency? Every day I wake up and have to find a reason why I should want to live. Every day. I can't breathe to think what those people tell themselves every morning to keep going on every day.! Yes, they are people. You take everything from them. People, they are people. Just like you and me. They are our children, brothers, sister, moms, dads, grandmas, grandpa.

And you know your life isn't so perfect that you have a right to judge another. The homeless are trying to stay alive. You put them deeper in hope and wonder why they do what they do? Imagine if it were you homeless. MELODY TEEL Lodi

5G Dangers

Editor: Wireless companies are trying to force 5G onto populations. They are doing this without your consent or knowledge about 5G wireless radiation health dangers.

5G will transmit large amounts of data over short distances. It utilizes short wave frequency. It is military grade technology that does harm to the human body, birds, animals, insects, plants, etc. 5G is worse than 2G/3G/4G. 5G antennas will be placed on utility poles, lamp posts, and commercial buildings. It’s not one huge cell tower outside of town.

Wireless phones, laptops, iPad, and smart meters emit harmful wireless radiation to your brain, and body. It’s far worse for kids, babies, pregnant mothers, and the elderly.

The World Health Organization classified wireless radiation as Group 2B “possible human carcinogen.” A recent National Institute of Health study found “clear evidence” of cancer in animals from exposed wireless radio frequency radiation (cell phones/wireless devices).

The FCC and the telecom/wireless companies should not force American citizens to endure involuntary exposure to powerful wireless radiation 24/7 in their own homes. For example, Supervisor Chuck Winn and San Joaquin County tried to create a Smart “5G” Plan. San Joaquin residents arose awareness about 5G health dangers to the Board of Supervisors. Contact Supervisor Winn to stop any plan for a Smart “5G” County Plan at 209-468-3113.

Join us on July 27 from noon to 1 p.m. on the sidewalk of Lower Sacramento in Lodi near the AT&T Wireless Store and Safeway to raise awareness of 5G Wireless dangers to the public via signs/flyers. For more information, go to http://www.AmericansForResponsibleTech.org. ALEX ALIFERIS Lodi
