Lodi Eagles No. 848 — Bingo

Join us for Monday Night Bingo with proceeds going to Eagle Charities with only 150 seats available. Doors open at 4 p.m., Bingo begins at 6 p.m. Located at the corner of Lockeford and Washington streets.

Lodi Republican Women’s Club — Monthly Luncheon

The Lodi Republican Women will hold their monthly meeting at the Woodbridge Golf and Country Club Wednesday, Aug. 21.

The lunch meeting will begin with a meet-and-greet at 11 a.m. followed by lunch and meeting at 11:30 a.m.

Guest speaker will be Joanne Mounce, one of our Lodi City Council members. She was first elected to the City Council in 2004, and was re-elected in 2008, 2012 and 2016.

Mounce has held many positions with the League of California Cities, including serving as president in 2015 and 2017. This was the first time since 1952 that a council member has been bestowed this honor.

As a third-generation Lodian, she is an active volunteer with the LRWF, the Lodi Historical Society and other community organizations.

This event is open to the public, but those wishing to attend must make reservations no later than Aug. 16, by calling Jane Henderson-Loney at 925212-5914.
