Trinchero sets the bar for supporting Lodi Boys and Girls Club

-

Editor: Trinchero Family Estates of Lodi has generously provided a $25,000 matching grant challenge for the Lodi Boys and Girls Club. Trinchero Family Estates will match dollar for dollar all funds raised between Memorial Day and July 4.

The Board of Directors will be urging local citizens and businesses to donate before July 4 to ensure we capture the entire $25,000 grant.

COVID-19 forced the cancellation of our annual dinner auction and the fireworks stand revenues. Additionally, new procedures required to ensure the health and safety of our members will increase our operational costs. We need everyone’s assistance to ensure our doors stay open to all Lodi youth that need a safe place to reach their full potential.

Our members take a confidential survey each year to measure outcomes of our programs. A few statistics from the survey show 90% of teen members expect to graduate from high school, 78% of all club members feel safe and positive about staff expectations, and 71% of club teens volunteered in our community.

Closed schools and stay-at-home orders have put additional mental stress on youth and families. We will open again soon, and your partnership will ensure we have the additional staff and resources to safely meet the needs of all who come through our doors.

Donate at www.bgclodi.com. Donate by texting lodibgc to 44-321 or mail donations to Lodi Boys & Girls Club, P.O. Box 244, Lodi, CA. 95241. Your partnership with us will change lives. Thank you.
