Mainstream media unfair to Trump

Editor: After many years of inviting the familiar faces of local and national news media into our homes, something has changed. They have stated their job is to shape our opinions. No longer is the focus on investigative reporting. Throughout the channels you hear the same narrative almost word for word.

In many respects they have been successful. With the media’s hatred and bias against our president it is no wonder so many people have such a negative opinion of him. Is it a surprise that the majority of the media are in line with the Democrat Party and willing to go as left as needed to stay in the party’s good graces?

President Trump is one of us, “We the People.” He is not a groomed politician. He is a successful businessman who wants us all to have the opportunity of the American Dream. He loves this country as founded. He did not need this job. He did it simply for love of country and his fellow Americans,

As an outsider he is a threat to the D.C. status quo. “This Town” is a book written by Mark Leibovich of the New York Times. The book exposes the people feeding off special interest money in D.C. while claiming to be working for us. They have declared war on President Trump because he dares to disrupt the betrayal of the American people.

Given the present times, we have a responsibility to look at a variety of sources for our information and make our own conclusions. Alternative sources could be Newsmax TV, Breitbart News and Point of View Radio to name a few. You can go on YouTube (without network commentaries) to listen to those who spoke at the RNC about how they have been affected by the president’s policies. If you don’t make the effort you will never know the many accomplishments and promises he has kept because you will never hear it on the nightly news. Then you may understand why he has so many supporters.
