Scooby

Scooby is 3 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He will need a calm, gentle, adults-only home with a secure 6-foot fence. Scooby is shy at first, but is a happy dog and should blossom in a loving home. He may do well with another small, gentle dog, but would also be a good only dog.

Scooby enjoys lap time, and would do best in an environment where someone is home most or all of the day. He rides well in the car on someone’s lap, but will need leash training and practice. He is being house-trained and prefers company when he’s outdoors. He has been neutered and microchipped, and his vaccinations are current.

Lester

Lester is a sweet, loving, mellow cat who loves lap time. He loves being brushed and petted, and enjoys lounging. Lester had a difficult life as a stray but has quickly adapted to life indoors. He can be shy and reserved at first, but once he gets to know someone, he quickly becomes friends. He loves watching “cat TV” from a window and is tentatively exploring cardboard cat scratchers and the cat tower.

Lester is approximately 5 to 10 years old, has eight teeth, and has tested a faint positive for FIV. He will be retested to verify or rule out the diagnosis. Lester’s left eye appears to have scarring; he recently was evaluated by an ophthalmologist who discovered he is blind in that eye, but it causes him no distress and requires no treatment. He is laid back and plays well with others, so would do well in a multicat household.

Lester is an indoor-only cat. He is litter-box trained and has been neutered, microchipped and treated for pests; his vaccinations are current.
