Tail-Waggers
Panera
Panera will be 6 years old on Feb. 14, and weighs 98 pounds. She is calm, sweet, loving and well-mannered, and true to her breed she loves to protect her family and home. She loves treats, tennis balls and toys that squeak, and enjoys play-time. She is house-trained. She loves to patrol around the back yard, so a home with a securely fenced yard is a must. Her ideal home is as an only dog with a human who is home most of the day. She chases cats and should not be in a home with them, and is not used to small children and may not do well with them. Homeowners only need apply. Panera is spayed and microchipped, and her vaccinations are current. Animal Friends Connection is a Lodi nonprofit organization dedicated to helping companion animals since 1990. For more information, call 209-365-0535 or visit www.animalfriendsconnect.org. Tux
Tux is very sweet. He was semi-feral for a couple of years, but he has learned to trust people and is now ready for a family of his own. He enjoys lounging around, especially in front of a fire on cold days. He gets along with cat-friendly dogs and other friendly cats, and would do well with gentle, respectful children.
Tux is FIV-positive; his immune system is compromised, but he is otherwise a healthy cat. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans. Tux is an indoor-only cat. He is litter-box trained and has been neutered, microchipped and treated for pests; his vaccinations are current.
