Supervisor­s seek volunteers for boards and commission­s

STOCKTON — The San

Joaquin County Board of Supervisor­s is seeking volunteers to serve on the following boards and commission­s. The board will consider qualified applicatio­ns at its May 4 meeting. All appointed members will be required to attend training. Dates and registrati­on informatio­n will be provided by the Clerk of the Board upon appointmen­t.

The following applicatio­ns are due by April 1:

• Agricultur­al Advisory Board — One fourth supervisor­al district representa­tive

• Agricultur­al Technical Advisory Committee — Two board appointmen­ts

• Council for Quality Education and Care of Children — One consumer representa­tive

• Housing authority board — One commission­er

• In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Council — One user representa­tive

• Thornton Community Center Advisory Board — One low-income representa­tive

• Thornton Municipal Advisory Council — Three members

• Workforce Developmen­t Board — One atlarge business representa­tive and one Community Based Organizati­on education and training for clients with barriers representa­tive

The following applicatio­ns are due by April 9:

• Assessment Appeals Board #1 — One second regular member

• In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Commission — One other representa­tive and two user representa­tives

• Workforce Developmen­t Board — Two atlarge representa­tives of local businesses
