Oak Ridge Winery appoints new VP

Oak Ridge Winery, Lodi’s oldest operating winery, today announced the appointmen­t of Jim Moisson as vice president and global sales manager.

Moisson brings three decades of experience to the post, including key sales leadership roles for Paul Hobbs Winery, Copper Cane Wines & Provisions, and Constellat­ion Brands.

“Jim has a great reputation as an expert in partnering with the major, national chains as well as a being a capable and well-respected leader of sales teams,” said Raquel Casity, Oak Ridge general manager and partner.

Moisson started his career in 1987 as a field sales manager with E&J Gallo joining shortly after graduation from University of Missouri.

“The Maggio family has been farming in Lodi for generation­s and producing wines sold around the world; I am humbled to join a family so rich in heritage,” Moisson said. “It’s incredible to witness this fourth-generation family exhibit not only passion but vision to invest in the winery. This dedication will sustain the legacy of the family-owned winery and the Lodi AVA. My goal, alongside our leadership team, is to leverage my experience, industry relationsh­ips, and energy to create a sales organizati­on of the same prestige this company’s farming and production deserves.”

Oak Ridge Winery is a fifth generation, familyowne­d and operated winery owned by the Maggio family. Growing grapes since the 1920s, Oak Ridge Winery was built in 1934, making it the oldest operating winery in Lodi.

The Maggios purchased and renamed the cooperativ­e in 2002 and today produce their own suite of brands including Lodi Estates, Maggio Family Vineyards, Old Soul, OZV, Moss Roxx and 3 Girls.
