TRILA NIELSEN

Trila Nielsen and her husband Karl Nielsen passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, in Lodi, CA. Trila was 66 years old and was born on April 4,1954, in Mandan, ND to her parents Peter and Iola Jochim. Karl was 83 and born on July 5, 1937, in Frog Creek, Wisconsin to his parents Alfred and Bess Nielsen.

Trila graduated from Lodi High School where she went on to spend most of her adult life in the insurance business. Karl attended high school in Wisconsin and spent over 20 years serving our country and retired from the United States Army. Trila and Karl were married March 14, 1998, in Reno, NV. Trila and Karl both enjoyed bowling and traveling together with their friends.

Trila is survived by her mother Iola Jochim of Lodi and four siblings: Pamela Jochim of Lodi, Gwen Lane of Lockeford, Lonna Hittle (Robert) of Lodi and Ariel Jochim of Lodi; five nieces; two nephews; four great nieces and five great nephews. Trila is preceded in death by her father Peter Jochim, her first husband Randy Bishop and brother-in-law Dusty Lane.

Karl is survived by five children; one brother; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Karl is preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Trila and Karl at the American Legion Hall, 320 N. Washington St in Lodi, Friday, May 21, 2021 at 9:00 am. They will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
