CHRISTOPHE­R JAMES WILLETTE

It is with a very heavy heart we announce the sudden death of Christophe­r James Willette — “Chris” to all who knew him. Taken all too soon at the age of 41 years.

Chris was born in Santa Clara, California in 1979. He lived with his parents and sister in Los Altos until graduating from Egan Middle School. He and his family moved to Lodi, Ca. in 1993 to be closer to his father’s parents. Chris attended Tokay H.S., he joined the swim and water polo teams where he met his future wife, Christy Tarditi. He was immensely proud of his water polo team which became State Champion in his senior year.

Upon graduation he enrolled at Delta for one semester but soon decided to join the Marines. Following his training, he served his time proudly at Kaneohe Bay Marine Base. When he returned to Lodi, he enrolled in ITT Tech where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Data Communicat­ions Systems

Technology. Chris worked for several companies in the IT field as a technician and later in a supervisor­y role. He spent three years in the Philippine­s coordinati­ng the setup of two call centers in Mikati and Manila before returning to the United States in 2008. Chris reunited with Christy Tarditi shortly thereafter and after several years together were married at sea in October 2015. They establishe­d their home in Lodi, CA with their beloved fur babies, Goldie and Holly.

Chris is survived by his wife, Christy R. Tarditi; his parents, Jim and Marie Willette; his sister, Jennifer Willette; his nephew, Leland Ryan; and many more extended family members.

A Celebratio­n of Life luncheon will be held at the Oddfellows Hall, 6 S. Pleasant Ave., Lodi, Ca 95240, July 31, 2021 from 1pm to 3pm. Friends and family are all invited to attend. Please RSVP to chriswille­tte2021@gmail.com.
