Kevin Sean Murphy, 34 years old, born November 30, 1986 entered into heaven on July 19, 2021. Kevin was born and raised in Michigan and made his home in California.
Kevin left us far too soon but in his short time on Earth he lived his life with purpose and to the fullest.
In his early years, back in Michigan, Kevin’s ambitions and competitive spirit began. He was an avid snowboarder at 8 years old. He played soccer from 4-18 years old and was a member of the Michigan Olympic Development Program. His love of motorcycles started at 17 years old with dirt bikes. Kevin started his first job at 14 years old at Alpine Ski Resort in Michigan where he cleaned tables. He then started his own lawn business at 15 years old.
Some of his more recent accomplishments include racing at Laguna Seca for MotoAmerica, coaching other riders for Pacific Track Time, becoming a President’s Club member in 2020 with Hunter Engineering, and marrying the love of his life and raising their two beautiful daughters.
Kevin will always be remembered for his loyalty, rooting for and helping others, being focused and driven, his caring nature, his honesty, his non-stop energy, his confidence, his focus and his infectious and contagious smile. Kevin will always be larger than life.
He survived by his wife Julia and their daughters Michaela and Marley, his parents Matthew Murphy and Cindy Falduti, his brothers Brian Murphy and Nolan Piaseki, his grandparents Vern and Carol Marcum and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kevin’s celebration of life will be Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11 am at Micke Grove Park Camanche Picnic Area. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for the completion of their home and for support of the motorcycle community. When donating please note where you would like your donations to go.
