Helen was born and lived in the Jackson, Mississippi area until she and her family moved to Lodi California in 1961. After the death of her husband Walter (Dub) of 52 years she moved back to Mississippi to be with sisters and oldest daughter.

Helen worked as a switchboard operator during WWII at the telephone company South Central Bell and again at the Mississippi University Medical Center from 1958-1961. She was housewife in the intervening years.

She was a loved and admired Mother to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and many friends throughout her 100 years. Helen and her family love having fun whether telling stories or traveling.

We are asking in lieu of flowers to donate to hospice or your favorite charity in her honor.
