German club welcomes public to future meetings

-

The old folktale of the town musicians Bremen was read at the recent meeting of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia.

“A Donkey, A Dog, A Cat, and the Rooster” were to be killed by their masters, but with the donkey’s good ideas and the collaboration of them all, they found a happy home in their old age. Wilma Heckenlaible Spice presented the story.

The American Historical Society of Germans from Russia will meet again in June.

The date and time have yet to be announced. All interested persons are invited whether you have German-from-Russia ancestry or not. For more information, call 412-9771907.
