The Knights of Columbus Council 14247 will be having their annual Crab

Feed on Saturday January 13, 2024. The evening will include a raffle and a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction. The cost is $70, which includes a no host bar at 6p.m. and a dinner at 7 p.m. at St. Joachim’s Parish Hall in Lockeford. Tables of 8 may be reserved and tickets purchased by calling Dave at 209-3046109. Proceeds support our local community.

Adventist HealthSupport Group for Adult Children with Aging Parents

More than 6 million elderly Americans need assistance with basic needs such as getting out of bed, managing finances and more. Most of these needs are met by family members and can become

quite emotionally taxing. Adventist Health Lodi Memorial offers a support group to address the concerns and emotions faced by caregivers related to the aging relative.

Participants will learn about coping, managing stress, establishing limits, selfcare, choosing options, long-term care, community resources, and involving others.
