A former profession­al baseball player sought in the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend in Arizona was found dead of a self-inf licted gunshot wound at the Grand Canyon, police said.

Charles Haeger, 37, pitched for three teams including the Dodgers over parts of five seasons.
