Leonard (Lenny) L. Rosenheim passed away due to complications of COVID-19. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois, his daughter Bonnie Widdes, son Brad (Devon), and daughter Ilene and his four grandchildren (Seth, Ethan, Whitney and Ryan) and three great grandchildren. Lenny was born in Chicago, IL and lived the last 29 years in Scottsdale, AZ. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014.

In 1958 the family moved from Los Angeles to San Diego where they planted roots and became San Diegans. Janet was Sisterhood President at Temple Soleil (Temple Beth Israel) which became their hub where they made many lifelong friends. Janet’s love of San Diego never waned. She loved the beach and all of the fun social life San Diego had to offer. She always looked forward to each season at “The Pops” and La Jolla Playhouse. Janet worked hard along side Doug during the 12 years they owned and operated the Fed-Mart Franchise in the College Area. Their hard work paid off and they both retired in their 50’s to a life of travel, doting on their grandchildren and enjoying their many wonderful friends in San Diego, Los Angeles, Palm Springs and assorted cities throughout the USA.

We are sad to lose her but so grateful for the life she lived and for the love she shared with us all. Rest in Peace our Dear Sweet Mom and Mimi.

If you would like to make a donation in Janet’s memory, please honor her at these wonderful charities:

City of Hope, Duarte, CA; San Diego Food Bank; Meals on Wheels, location of your choice.

“It’s just a cloud across the sun…….. It’s just a shadow hanging over us…

If we keep the faith the light will come…. Right now it’s just a cloud across the sun.”
